Erin Geary

Erin is our Licensed Veterinary Technician! She is from Granger, IN, but now lives in Edwardsburg,MI with her fur babies, Odie and Athena. She attended Missouri State University + Brown Mackie College. Her favorite part about veterinary medicine is that every day is different and never dull! She also enjoys giving attention and affection to all the animals! In her spare time, Erin enjoys traveling, spend time on the lake, hang out with friends and family, and read.

Cindy Brown

Cindy is our Veterinary Technician/Office Manager! She was born and raised in White Pigeon, MI and still lives here with her husband and cat. She attended school at Michigan State University! Her favorite part about veterinary medicine is interacting with the animals and the different cases that come in every day. In her spare time, she enjoys baking, reading, spending time with her grandchildren and family.

Becky Garcia

Becky is our Veterinary Assistant! She is a Marcellus, MI native and lives here with her husband, son, and cat, but also has 3 other sons that don’t live at home. Her favorite part about veterinary medicine are the different pets she gets to see every day, along with some similarities between human and vet medicine. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with family and outdoor activities.


Bev Gahan

Bev is our receptionist and housekeeper! She is originally from Chicago, IL, but now lives in Three Rivers, MI with her husband and 3 dogs, Teddy, Maggie, and VonTrapp. She attended school at Madonna HS, UICC, and DePaul University. Her favorite part of veterinary medicine is helping to improve the lives of animals and getting puppy kisses! Outside of work, Bev enjoys working on construction for local community players and going to see live theater.


Julie PetersJulie Peters

Julie is our Receptionist! She is from Centreville, MI, but now lives in Three Rivers, MI with her significant other, 2 dogs, 2 cats, horse, and 2 chickens. Her favorite part about veterinary medicine is seeing all the different breeds that come in and having funny interactions with clients (one time she came in for her 10am appointment and forgot her dog at home, haha!) In her spare time, Julie enjoys camping, reading, and driving her Camaro.

Michelle Gooden

Michelle is our Receptionist! She is from Marcellus, MI, but now lives in Three Rivers, MI. She graduated from Marcellus High School and after high school, attended Sure Foundation Theological Institute Light University. She loves veterinary medicine because it fulfills both human and animal needs. Michelle loves that “you don’t just help pets get better, you help families get their pets back.” As a Veterinary Receptionist, she has the best of both worlds, because she gets to help both patient and owner. Michelle has 4 boys, Richard, James, Elijah, and Micah, a dog named Lewey, a cat named Annabelle, and a guinea pig named Oreo. Outside of work, she likes spending time with her boys, fishing, gardening, reading, and studying biblical theology.


Heidi Robertson

Heidi is our Practice Manager! She lives in Plainwell, MI with her significant other, 2 daughters, 5 dogs (Bella, Butch, Dylan, Jax and Opie), 2 cats (Oscar and Sirius) and 1 lizard (Remy). Heidi enjoys camping, reading and spending time with friends and family. Her favorite pastime is to be snuggled up with her Bella girl watching Netflix. Heidi has been in the veterinary world for over 15 years and loves being part of a team that strives to provide excellent medical care for each patient and interacting with our wonderful clients.


Tayler Eggleston

Tayler is our Assistant manager and Lead Assistant. She has worked in veterinary medicine for over 8 years and has loved every second. Her favorite part of her job is connecting with clients and patients.  Her favorite appointments involve allergies.  She loves helping owners work through all the hardships and trials that involve treating allergies.  She loves to continue her education in veterinary medicine and evolve along with the constant changes of working in the medical field.  She will be finishing her Veterinary Technician degree and hopes to continue helping lead and mentor future people who want a career in veterinary medicine.  She lives at home with her husband and a large clan of animals on her hobby farm.


Kim Wheeler

Kim is one of our clinic’s receptionists. She is from Otsego, MI, but now lives in Plainwell, MI with her significant other, John, and two dogs. Kim worked at the West Michigan Cancer Center for over eight years and then moved over to the animal side of medicine. Her favorite part of the job is seeing all the different dogs and cats that come into the clinic. In her spare time, she enjoys camping, being with her two grandsons, and hanging out with family and friends.


Melanie Nickerson

Melanie lives in Kalamazoo, MI with her husband Eric and their dog Oden. She graduated from WMU with a bachelor’s degree and continued her education at the Baker College Veterinary Technology Program. In her free time, she enjoys camping, riding horses, and hanging out with her family and friends. Melanie’s favorite part of her job is taking care of the animals that come in for surgery.


Vicki

Vicki Collins

Vicki is one of our receptionists. She has worked in customer service for many years and a personal rule of hers is to treat others in the same manner that she would like to be treated. Her passion has always been the love and welfare of pets who she views as loving members of every family. Prior to her employment at Crossroads, Vicki was a professional dog groomer for over 10 years. Crossroads is a perfect fit for her passion, work ethic, and the team spirit of her colleagues. Vicki’s goal at Crossroads is to ensure every client that enters the doors are happy, informed, and satisfied with our customer service and comfortable trusting us with their pets in the future. Vicki was born and raised in Chicago, IL. She has been married for 22 years and has 2 children, 2 dogs, and 2 cats. When not working Vicki enjoys spending time with her friends and family doing outdoor activities and enjoying lake life! She also enjoys crocheting, reading, and shopping.


Sarah

Sarah Astling

Sarah is a Vet Assistant with experience in Emergency Veterinary Medicine. She began her journey working with animals professionally by interning at the Potawatomi Zoo in South Bend, Indiana. Sarah has 5 cats, 2 leopard geckos, and a Chihuahua named Lola Jean. She obtained her BS in Biology and Environmental Science from Manchester University in 2020, and is currently finishing her Masters of Biology from Miami Ohio University’s “Project Dragonfly”.

Sophia Feller

Sophia is a Veterinarian Assistant. She is a Centreville graduate and looks forward to continuing her education in this field. Her favorite part of the job is the puppies! Sophia has a very spoiled two-year-old Sheltie, Ola. Outside of work she enjoys golfing, fishing and spending time with family and friends.


Madelyn

Madelyn Adams

Madelyn graduated from Three Rivers High School and is looking to expand her knowledge in veterinary medicine and become a vet tech through Purdue University’s online program. She hopes to one day work with wildlife. Madelyn’s favorite part of the job is learning about all the behaviors between dog breeds. She has two cats, Roe and Grogu, and a very attention-seeking corgi, Oliver. In her free time, she likes to lift weights, play piano, and sing in her church choir.


Lauren

Lauren Alsvig

Lauren has worked as a Veterinary Assistant for 4 years, and joined the Crossroads Team about 1.5 years ago. She will be graduating with her Bachelor’s degree from Michigan State this spring. Lauren has 2 family dogs, Olive (a Goldendoodle) and Tucker (an adorable Hinz’57 old man). In her free time Lauren loves to be outdoors, going fishing/kayaking, and spending time with her BFF (Tayler). She is an avid tea drinker and loves Chocolatea (a super awesome tea store in Kalamazoo, MI). Lauren’s favorite appointments involve surgery, puppies, and anything that involves a new experience.


Chelsea

Chelsea Harris

Chelsea is one of our Licensed Veterinary Technicians. She is from Plainwell, MI, where she currently lives with her significant other, Andy, and son, Jack. She graduated from Baker College and has experience in General Practice and Emergency Medicine. Chelsea currently has 5 dogs, 2 cats, a horse, and some chickens. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with family, hanging out at the lake or pool, and riding JD, her horse.


Michelle Clift

Michelle is one of our Receptionists! She was born and raised in Indiana and moved to Michigan after marrying her husband. Michelle has 3 children, 2 girls and 1 boy. She has spent most of her life taking care of humans in healthcare and decided to make a change to animals. Her favorite part of working at Crossroads is getting greeted by all the different animals. Outside of work her family is her most important priority.
